Moving Resources from Provider to Provider

If you need to move a resource (a property) to another one of your timum Provider Calendars, timum offers a function for this.

1. Open the properties (settings) for the resource you want to move.
2. At the top of the dialog window, select the „Move Resource" function.

This function performs the following

1. The resource is assigned to the target provider and removed from the previous Provider Calendar.
2. All appointments of the resource are transferred to the target provider.
3. Clients linked to these appointments are also moved to the target provider. If a client has appointments with another resource, that client will additionally remain in the previous Provider Calendar. Manually added clients are transferred and merged with existing manually noted clients if all their data matches.
4. If an appointment type with the same name already exists in the target provider, appointments will be linked to the existing appointment type. Appointment types with different names, for which the resource is activated, will be created in the target provider.
